right ot left at the next corner? Why not go straight down the middle?

This is my first blog and I obsessed over my first entry. How it could form the rest of my blog's life. What would be the right way, the first entry in the birth of a blog...

Then I read this blog "The secret Army of Digg Trolls" on digg:

and more importantly read the comments. you know which ones they are without reading; the ones where the conservatives despair of the liberals ever being able to hear a voice other than their own and the liberals viciously kick the downed beast of the "conservative rebirth" as they declare I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, over and over again. What happened to the centrists? Screw the centrists, what happened to the adults? Since when did we let them (them being everyone from the grassy knoll guy to Mel's Hollywood cabal to, the charlatans pitching their religo-fascist snake oil ) force us away from the values that have made us who we are?

This country was built on the backs of people who disagree and stand up for their viewpoints and are willing to defend them to the point of bloodshed while at the same time would fight back to back with the person they are so heatedly arguing with to defend their right to think what they think?

As I said in my posted response to the comments. We desperately need to get on the same side of the table to work on fixing whats wrong as opposed to staying on opposite side trying so hard to point the finger and place the blame. Or of course we can stay the course, find someone to blame and focus all the news coverage on that for six months. Blame is exactly whats needed as the titanic sinks, cause that of course is the one thing that will patch the hole, bail out the water and keep this unsinkable vessel afloat, blame not action!
